Hi There, I'm Tietra!

I am a nurse, an educator, a Lactation Consultant and a big believer in the power of informed choices when it comes to pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. I’ve spent almost two decades working with postpartum moms and babies in all kinds of settings, and it’s truly my passion to support families as they grow.

I received a Biology degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Along the way, I also became a Certified Childbirth Educator, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, as well as an American Heart Association certified CPR Instructor.

On the personal side, I’m a wife and a proud mama to two amazing kids — both of whom I breastfed for two years. It’s been such a joy to walk alongside so many women on their motherhood journeys, and I’m here to do the same for you. I believe that when you’re informed, you can make the choices that feel right for you and your family — and I’m excited to be part of that journey with you!
